Hi [PLACEHOLDER],

Din Tai Fung, the Michelin-recognized brand and beloved global culinary icon, will open its first ever standalone location in the Downtown Disney District at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, Calif. on Thursday, June 27.

The new restaurant will bring Asian-focused dining to the district and is the first freestanding Din Tai Fung (DTF) location built from the ground up, allowing the brand to infuse the structure with design elements that pay homage to the company’s Taiwanese heritage.

Design: Designed by the acclaimed Rockwell Group, the elevated design concept serves to pay homage to the brand’s cultural origins. Design elements include:

  • A dramatic, contemporary take on a traditional Chinese pavilion rooftop.

  • A suspended, beaded installation over the circular central bar greets guests upon entering the restaurant, with traditional Chinese pendants softly illuminating the space.
